This onion was stored dirty indoors after harvest but washed prior to delivery. Pungent when raw and mildly, sweet when cooked, we often add these fresh onions to our sandwiches and salads. That being said, they also fare extremely well on the grill. Pairs well with grilled meats, acidic ingredients, and warming spices.
