Garlic Scapes (1 bunch)
The taste of these scapes is quite similar to green garlic with some mild grassy and almondy undertones. When pressed they release an aromatic oil with a peppery flavor. We recommend cooking the scapes as this eases and sweetens their flavor, but they're also delicious in pesto. Pair well with late spring veggies like artichokes, morel mushrooms, new potatoes, and spring peas.
