Stuckmeyer Produce is, by definition, a family farm. I (Garry) am the fifth generation in the Stuckmeyer family to raise vegetables for a living. My parents (Walter and Hermetta Stuckmeyer) have worked alongside me and my wife, cultivating and selling crops for the past few decades. Our kids are actively involved as well! Katie Vincent and Matt both help to manage the business operation.
We use several practices to maintain a healthy and biodiverse farm ecosystem. First, we use cover crops to maintain the health of our soil and prevent erosion. Second, we execute an integrated pest management strategy. As devised in this strategy, we only use pesticides when a crop is at risk from a pest infestation. Third, we use non-GMO seeds whenever possible.
