Big Heart Tea Co. is a St. Louis-based, woman-owned tea company on a quest to make people feel good, with the power of healing herbs. The best-tasting cup of tea you’ve ever had began in 2012 when founder, Lisa Govro, fell in love with the healing power of turmeric and began her search for the very best tea ingredients in the world. With every batch of tea they make, Big Heart Tea Co. is carrying out their mission: to ethically source the highest quality ingredients, produce the best-tasting teas, herbs, and blends to improve the health and well-being of those they serve.

Building personal relationships with the world’s top organic tea farmers, Big Heart Tea Co. has developed a holistic direct-sourcing process that focuses in equal parts on the quality of the tea, the lives of the farmers who grow it, and the environment. At Big Heart Tea Co., they ensure the highest quality product and service by transforming their organic, direct trade ingredients into delicious tea. Big Heart Tea Co. uses 100% organic herbs in all herbal blends. They only use whole ingredients... no flavors, coloring or sweeteners added. Just whole flowers, herbs, and spices. As if that weren't enough, Big Heart Tea uses tea bags made from a biodegradable woven mesh called Soilon. Soilon is derived from corn starch and can be composted completely!
