D & M Greek Gyro Salad

This is one of David Huelsmann's (of D&M Farms) favorite ways to prepare their signature Gyro Seasoned Ground Lamb.

Serving: 2

Ingredients

  • 1 lb D & M gyro meat
  • 1 head lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cucumber, cubed
  • 1/2 lb grape tomatoes, cubed
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • Crumbled feta cheese
  • Tzatiki sauce

 Steps:

  1. Brown the meat on the skillet
  2. Combine all salad ingredients (except the feta) in a large bowl and apply dressing. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Serve browned meat on top of the dressed salad and sprinkle with feta
